VBR Youth Program Registration: High School
Our High School Program runs throughout the academic year—fall and spring—and draws athletes from high schools across the area. The team competes at regattas throughout the state, region, and nation, with separate squads for Varsity (experienced rowers) and Novice (first-year rowers).
While we encourage athletes to commit to the entire year to gain the most from our progressive training program, we understand that might not be possible for everyone. Athletes are welcome to join for either the fall or spring season if needed.
Needs-based financial support is available for youth who qualify for the free or reduced lunch program at school, or who participate in another community program targeted at disadvantaged youth, or to families that qualify as low-income in our area, or who can demonstrate special circumstances that justify their applications.
Financial aid applications should be made as soon as possible. Families requesting 90% assistance are not eligible for installment payments. All financial aid recipients intending to forgo the installment option and pay the entire fee up front should await confirmation of aid approval before entering a payment method on file. You will receive instructions at that time with steps to take to have your aid credited to your account.
